Welcoming Visitors with Delicious Plant-Based Food

This year, NÉGYOSZ took part in the Ladikos Festival in Mecsér, showcasing that sustainable eating can be delicious, nutritious, and bring people together. In collaboration with Delirest, the Hungarian Soy and Protein Crop Association, and the Smart Protein (OkosFehérje) programme, we welcomed festival visitors with 120 free servings of plant-based meals.

Plant-Based Dishes at the Festival

Visitors had the opportunity to sample a special menu featuring white bean hummus topped with crispy pearl beans and flavourful falafel. Both dishes were warmly received, with many visitors pleasantly surprised by the variety and great taste of meals prepared from locally grown protein crops.

The plant-based menu was a great success among festival visitors.

Take the Recipes Home

In addition to tasting the dishes, visitors could also take home free recipe cards, making it easy to recreate the festival favourites in their own kitchens. Our goal was to demonstrate that plant-based meals are not only healthy and environmentally sustainable but also practical, delicious, and easy to incorporate into everyday life.

Working Together for More Sustainable Food Choices

The festival provided an excellent opportunity to introduce visitors to plant-based protein sources and their important role in creating more sustainable food systems. Throughout the day, we had many inspiring conversations about conscious nutrition, Hungarian protein crops, and environmentally friendly dietary choices.

We would like to thank our partners—Delirest, the Hungarian Soy and Protein Crop Association, and the Smart Protein (OkosFehérje) programme—for their valuable collaboration, as well as everyone who visited our stand and sampled our dishes.

We look forward to meeting you again at future events and continuing to promote sustainable, plant-based eating together.
